Malaysia rises to 12th spot in World Bank Doing Business rankings

THE World Bank’s Doing Business 2020 Report sees Malaysia in 12th place among 190 economies, a jump from its 15th spot a year earlier, said the International Trade and Industry Ministry. Bernama reported Minister Darell Leiking as saying the improved ranking is thanks to the public and private sectors’ collaboration in technical working groups under the Special Task Force to Facilitate Business to improve the ease of doing business.
