Apparently, we’re supposed to ‘air’ our homes at least twice a day to keep the oxygen fresh but the data says that 80% of Brits aren’t doing... that.

Air pollution is an increasing problem around the world but some worrying new data suggests it might infiltrate our houses as well.That’s the message coming from Netatmo, a smart home company that analysed data from one of its products – the NetatmoThe company said that 23% of homes in the UK on average exceed the threshold of 1,000 particles per million of COApparently, we’re supposed to ‘air’ our homes at least twice a day to keep the oxygen fresh.

It’s also important to choose the right time of day to air your home, as well as the duration needed to reduce the COAdvertisement‘Importantly, airing you home in winter does not lead to a significant loss of heat in the home. This is because only the indoor air cools, and not the walls, flooring, ceiling and furniture.
