As California burns, generator companies make a power grab. But the surge in home generators is raising questions among environmental advocates about increased pollution, carbon monoxide poisoning and fire hazards.

PG&E is now on a fast track to update its aging infrastructure. To keep equipment from sparking any more fires in high-risk areas, it is implementing the rolling blackoutsBrian Boyd checks one of the generators used to provide power at the Clear Creek Crossing store near Paradise, Calif., Oct. 24, 2019.

If California had taken care of things without going nuts over global warming scares they would not be facing the increased damage they've done nor the rise in out put that they are facing! It's their extremism that has boomeranged into extreme reactions! They need to chill out.
