Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s daughter, Halima, has finally assumed the driver’s seat of her father’s businesses. The word is everywhere that she has taken over as the Group Executive Director of Commercial Operations of Dangote Industries Limited, one of Africa’s largest and most diversified business conglomerates.Halima Dangote is also a trustee of the philanthropic arm of the Group known as Aliko Dangote Foundation.
She is the President of the Board of the African Centre in New York and a member of The Women Corporate Directors. Halima Dangote is coming into this new position with a lot of cutting-edge experience, having studied in Ivy League schools across the globe.
