Venture capitalists are raising more money too with numerous high profile funds seeing major inflows from institutional investors looking to profit from Europe's increasingly mature ecosystem. HELSINKI — Europe's tech ecosystem has been booming in recent years across all sectors and the figures for 2019 back it up.

The figure is a substantial jump from the estimated $25 billion invested into European startups in 2018.
