Australian Federal Police believe a surge in child exploitation material has become so great they can no longer arrest their way out of the problem.

The Australian reports paedophiles in Australia are driving the market for online footage of children being tortured and murdered. Exploitation reports nearly doubled to 18,000 in 2018. The Home Affairs Secretary says encryption has made it harder to catch those responsible. He also wants industry to do more to police the dark web.

AusFedPolice what a stupid comment. Sounds like the wrong people are running AFP, admitting defeat of criminal activity. Well its bad, lets just give up. I suppose next words out of AFP will be legalise it. Just get on with policing for goodness sake or is that too much to ask from our Police
