Edinburgh is a suffocating dull place. Go to Glasgow if you must go to Scotland.

I went to Edinburgh in '89 and '93. Lovely memories. All this over-tourism is turning such experiences to shit.

People are upset because for two years they have built a huge scaffolding structure in a public park without planning permission... Nobody knows if it is structurally safe the Edinburgh city council has allowed Underbelly to behave like untouchable gangsters.
