Ramaphosa reiterates call for stiff penalties against GBV perpetrators via SABCNewsOnline

The 21-year-old Ramabulana was stabbed more than 50 times in her room outside the Capricorn College campus in Mokomene in November.

President Ramaphosa says he’ll support a trust fund or or a foundation established in Precious Ramabulana’s name as it will contribute to the fight against gender-based violence. “We’re going to improve the criminal justice system to ensure that those who perpetrate these acts must know that once they’re arrested and found guilty, they should never see the light of the day anymore; and that once imprisoned they must see the rest of their days in prison. What saddens me even more is that the perpetrator has had his brushes with the law with the rape type of a charge and he was still out prowling the streets of our country.”“We are happy about the President’s visit.

Why there is this GBV ?Did enyone ask why ?than lait action because what is important is to prevent Gander base violence why?

This is the attempt to capture the judiciary the CJ was talking about. He must not influence court judgements but there must be tough laws in the country to curb the violence. Those laws will make the courts to issue stiff penalties. I'm whipping you into line mr CyrilRamaphosa

That's a good, call by the honourable one his Excellency for peace is what we seek and humanity for all irrespective of gender But does the Saps have the capacity and resources to make the laws effective and tingable

So, Ramaphosa is angry about GBV but doesn’t give a hoot about grisly farm murders.
