TOP STORY | Malema threatens to disrupt SONA via SABCNewsOnline

Julius Malema addressed a rally in North West on Sunday ahead of Wednesday's bi-elections in Schweizer-Reneke, North West. leader, Julius Malema has threatened that his party will interrupt the State of the Nation address on February 13 if President Cyril Ramaphosa does not fire Public Enterprise Minister, Pravin Gordhan for misleading government over the situation at Eskom.

Malema addressed a rally in North West on Sunday ahead of Wednesday’s bi-elections in Schweizer-Reneke, North West. Eskom board Chairperson, Jabu Mabuza resigned on Friday after admitting that he had failed to keep a promise that there will be no load shedding before January 13. Malema says if the President does not act on Gordhan, it will be a clear indication that Ramaphosa is failing to protect the assets of South Africa.

He says, “I want to tell Cyril Ramaphosa today that if he can’t fire Pravin before the State of the Nation address, the State of the Nation Address shall be about Pravin. We will stand up there. We will stop him from speaking. We will tell him you must fire Pravin because we must protect South Africa’s assets. If Ramaphosa is not prepared to protect our assets by firing Pravin, then Ramaphosa must go.

stupid SABC no malema Threaten to disrupt SONA but EFF will disrupt SONA, CIC was speaking on EFF rally meaning he was speaking on behalf of EFF your favorite must fall

Uzokaka

I guess SONA will be disrupted. 🤷‍♂️

Not disrupt... nawe SABC sometimes you act like Stratcom

Useless Malema you will bully those EFF members not everyone, we know you bhuti, just payback the VBS money

akahambe ujamnandas

Malema cant do it alone if the citizens are matured enough and see the light. He's going to use exactly these angered citizens especially the Youth who think malema is the solutions but distractions. SONA won't be distracted and Gordhan will still be in charge.

He must try to do something that will change the life of the youth of South Africa

This guy is constantly intoxicated!!

EFFSouthAfrica Julius_S_Malema who cares...

Since SABC does not show anything interesting, this might actually be something to watch. Hopefully, as in the past, with great entertainment value: chairs flying through the air, fistfights, uncalled for speeches and the likes.

Ora ditlatla tseo

Not a threat, it is a promise.

Mark my words, Julius won't disrupt anything

Julius and his EFF stooge sidekicks haven't matured much since coming to Parliament. It's still the usual shouting, interruptions, rudeness and bad behaviour. Instead of becoming part of the solution, they create more problems. Julius' threats are getting boring. Time to grow up.

What’s he trying to get us to focus on now? Afriforum in process....?

As usual, it's not new to us🤷. And what he's gonna gain after doing that.If he's a real leader he will fight in a professional way not like a Barbarians.

This is the head line that was used when uBaba was taken toe to toe. Can't you change the headlines or is the the mind of some on autothink?

Malema is like a little baby, when he doesn't get what he wants he cries. But an older baby will cry and cause havoc. I'm surprised there are grown MEN and WOMEN who follow suck a person.

Oksalayo SONA will go ahead after Malema 2 minutes noodles 😂😂😂

What's new ? 😑

Those amongst us who have been around, the top story is when they don't disrupt SONA.

Jamnandas must fall, he is driving this country to the hole, Under Ramaphosa

Disrupt, dis al wat jy as African kan doen

Julius_S_Malema this warrants march to the Union Buildings, more damage would have been done by then [i.e. SONA]. BringBackBrianMolefe

Why always resort to disruptions?...this is so old as noah and the arch.

Kwasuka ke lokho

Tell him to go on. Disrupt status quo with intelligent views rather than violence

Let’s rather say it’s a warning not a threat.

EFF getting desperate for attention again, 2021 elections are around the corner with nothing to sell

He Ran Out Of Ideas

Please he must think again....
