The local government of Pasig City kicked off on Monday the dry run of a new traffic scheme around Pasig Mega Market.

According to Sotto, the new traffic scheme at Pasig Mega Market seeks to reduce traffic congestion along the city’s street corners and intersections.

The mayor said the scheme also aims to lessen the waiting time of passengers for available public utility vehicles. The Pasig government, Sotto noted, is open for suggestions to further improve the newly introduced system of loading and unloading at the city’s market area. The dry run for the new traffic scheme will be in effect until February 9. It will be fully implemented on February 10, he said.
