America's 1.8 million truck drivers can't work from home and often lack health insurance — and that may stymie the fight against coronavirus

I would think their role is critical in keeping goods, supplies and food delivered to people who need them. But also their role is quite solitary with minimal contact with others, quite ideal in minimizing risk of contracting the virus.

But aren’t they basically isolated? It’s not like they drive in packs of 100! I can’t image their jobs are at risk?! And people need supplies.

If only somebody (AndrewYang) had any ideas to help and could have been President...
