Gauteng Premier David Makhura says the province’s dense population is making social distancing difficult to contain the spread of theBriefing the media on the province plans ahead of the 21-day lockdown announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday, Makhura has urged Gauteng residents to remain at home and in the province.

Makhura says he has met with various departments and stakeholders to discuss the measures that will be put in place. He has also urged residence of Gauteng to remain in the during the lockdown.

Let`s not complain let`s look for solutions...be optimistic not pessimistic & succumb to defeat...we all know of the dense population...but it`s no excuse...that`s why we elected policymakers to oversee the province...good luck
