The SABC has confirmed that another employee has tested positive for the coronavirus. This second case is from the public broadcaster’s Johannesburg office.

The Public Broadcaster says those who work with the affected employee are currently working from home as a precautionary measure.This second case is from the public broadcaster’s Johannesburg office.The SABC says the affected worker’s colleagues are already working from home as part of contingency plans.

The news comes as another SABC employee at the Kimberley office, in the Northern Cape, is under isolation and being monitored.Government has put the number of coronavirus infections in South Africa at 1 170. One person has died from the virus. In the video below, Jackson Mthembu says that South Africa has 1 170 cases OF COVID-19 and has recorded the first death.
