To who the billion goes to? , because even when I recall this industry doesn't pay tax, so who's money is bailing them out on what terms?

Di taxi driver di matepe maarn yerrrrrrrrrr

So do a lot of other companies who actually pay taxes. Happy to support the SARS registered ones (Here's my R1,50)

From whom, after all they do not pay tax.

What *f* billions

Why? These guys who own these taxis buy houses cash, drives best cars. Think it's time that their starting to pay tax this industry makes more than billions a year.....

Hope they will die a sudden death.

Let them provide their tax statements of the last 3 years

Boo hoo

Screw them!

Run by gangsters so no. This is the only industry the EFF doesn't want to nationalise! Wonder why 🤔

They need bail out just like all this other transportation that has been benefiting from the goverment

The taxi relief fund must have the same rules as all the other funds. They must be compliant with all government regulations. If this is not the case then where is the fairness in the relief funds?

Let it die and we can get cheaper affordable municipal buses and transport again which keep to legal bus stops and the rules of the road.

I dont know, why should we help em, open up busses, more controllable, These people are dicks bra, treat community members like crap and I dont know about your region but in mine they've never contributed anything to the community except terror and spread fear. Organized gang

If they were not so much bothered about taxi violence they would had stimulus package of their own but Nah they wanna be tough big ego headed criminals who don't pay tax whatsoever

May the rest in peace.

From who? What so special about them We all victims from the situation.

This is one industry which doesn't need saving. It is in a huge demand on our everyday living. Government should have taken the opportunity to fix and enforce regulations for the taxis. But, the SANTACO pulled the government by tail.

How about money for the trains? Shit, we almost forgot that the MYANC ate all the money... No. No money for the taxi's.

So we must give white people billions for free😂 angeke, the taxi industry must also suffer. It's not them but the people who run the system who want the money. It's run by blacks but not owned by them🚶

Let them pay income tax and VAT in the first instance.

It'd be lekker if those billions were put towards their driver's anger management classes & road etiquette.

?.am lost..the government is in trouble for imposing the lockdown.....the disaster relief fund...everyone wants to be compensated.....and others see the chance to swindle the processes....human mind maar e jwang ee?

Heard about a house near mine that was bought for R6.5 million in CASH by a taxi owner....just saying 😜

SARS needs billions two. Maybe SARS and taxi industry should have that talk...

Ultimately the industry has to be regulated!

Sebengabulawa u21 days haibo, abaqine

Aowa hle lena

Many here keyboard warriors, wonder if they can share the same sentiments at any taxi association. This is one of the neglected industries by government yet any choose ignorance is their route of choice yet they can’t even put themselves in the taxi owner shoes. Quite sad😞

Not just the taxi industry , all South Africans...

Taxi Industry contribute to this economy more than any transport Sector and believe they should be well taken care of

If the owners pay tax, but half of them are own by gangsters.

Lol

Lol

Wonder who burnt the trains?

From whom?🙆🏽‍♀️

Don’t waste your time. They will resort to violence even when they’re regulated and violate the road laws.

What Billions ?

Ah

They need proper regulations
