Health director-general Datuk Noor Hisham Abdullah said they were close to coming to the end of a “marathon” where the last few metres would determine if their efforts to eliminate Covid-19 would be victorious.

He said the delay would pave the way for the country to gauge the country’s ability to control the infectivity of Covid-19 within the community.

Make rules to follow lest we forget. Wear mask at all times. No handshakes. 1 metre distancing. Limit customers to store. Sick, stay home. Limited opening hours. Drum it into the people till it becomes a way of life.

Eliminate? Why can’t they b honest in that we cannot eliminate it. If we’re going to b locked down until we have zero infections we’ll b locked up forever. Don’t give people false hope. U need to have a system in place to manage it long term. Prob cat n mouse with outbreaks.
