Kano: Warehouses sealed as anti-graft agency raids market for allegedly hoarding food items

Operatives of the Kano Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday closed up warehouses at the Singer market in the state.This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Muhuyi Rimingado, in a statement on Wednesday in Kano.

“Hoarding and unnecessary hike in prices of food items are capable of undermining government efforts to stem the pandemic and breach the security of the state.
