Court revives lawsuit targeting President Trump’s business dealings at his hotel in downtown Washington

A federal appeals court on Thursday revived a lawsuit seeking to block President Trump’s hotel in downtown Washington from accepting payments from foreign and state governments.

The split rulings suggest the Supreme Court will have the final word in the cases involving the rarely tested emoluments provisions intended to prevent foreign and state officials from having undue influence on U.S. leaders, including the president. The emoluments case centers on the president’s hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington, where foreign governments, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, have booked rooms and events since Trump entered the White House.

The hotel laid off the vast majority of its staff, a total of 237 employees, according to an April 3 filing with the D.C. government. That does not count staff from the BLT Prime steakhouse, which has also closed.

The left is a relentless army of stupidness

Apart from Washington, is it acceptable for the Trump mob to encourage foreign dignitaries, fellow republicans, business associates & GOP to favor Trump properties over others!

Until Barr steps in....

If the two justices in SCOTUS had to recuse themselves on ANYTHING with Trump's name on it, I'd have faith in them to do it right.....however.....don't count on it.....

AhmedBaba_ HeyMagats..... tied of the Winning?
