GettyNew data reveals a surge in the number of C-suite executives taking home learning courses under lockdown.
Execs told Business Insider they had taken up a range of new hobbies, including everything from the piano through to Google Analytics and quantum computing. New data from business networking platform Linkedin has revealed a surge in the number of C-suite executives taking e-learning courses under lockdown.
According to Linkedin's survey of 1,000 registered C-suite executives, 20% were taking classes in order to become "better leaders", while the other 40% were learning to "succeed at their current job". They said C-suite execs spend around six hours a month on their platform, and are typically reading four books at once.
"I played piano and keyboard many years ago and I felt inspired to go back to it and learn a few new songs," said Christian.
Fantastic!
This could be a great positive to come out of the C-19 crisis if our leaders would get behind and embrace this huge opportunity in learning instead of boo hooing school shutdowns. Total revolution in reducing education cost and increasing OPPORTUNITY.
