Dems: Trump sitting on nearly $14 billion for testing, contact tracing - Business Insider

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Patty Murray claimed the Trump administration has been sitting on nearly $14 billion designated to fund coronavirus testing and contact tracing.

The letter came after Trump's remarks about testing at a campaign rally Saturday, in which the president called testing a "double-edged sword" and claimed he told his staff to "slow down" testing. A White House official later claimed the president was joking. According to a statement, the senators said the administration has "still failed" to distribute more than $8 billion for testing and contact tracing.

Launched in 2007, the site is now the largest business news site on the web. Wasn't he the same person that said they should slow down with the testing ? 120,000 deaths isn't enough for Trump. He was hoping for 200,000 by now. isn't a spike in cases a symptom of appropriate testing?
