A growing list of companies say they'll join an advertiser boycott on Facebook in protest of what they say are the site's failures to stop the spread of hate. A civil rights coalition, which includes the Anti-Defamation League and the NAACP, launched the #StopHateforProfit campaign last week when it called on major corporations to put a pause on advertising on Facebook, citing the company's"repeated failure to meaningfully address the vast proliferation of hate on its platforms."Within days, outdoor retailers REI, The North Face, and Patagonia said they were in. AndrewYang Unilever stayed in S. Africa during Apartheid - and now you are applauding them for this? You need some introspection on who you praise.

CC sell your children more cocaine than cola, soda. cocaine company, and health destructor.

AndrewYang Why cant they just be held accountable for being honest or lying To the people thats treason

AndrewYang Can they also add for their SPYING POLICIES?

AndrewYang One man's hate speech is another man's informed information. If you don't like what someone is saying, click away. Removing speech you don't like only serves to undermine our Constitution and other people's point of view. In the long run, this wiping of speech clean hurts all.

Fools

AndrewYang Thanks for letting me know which companies not to buy products from.

It’s us sad that ceo of Facebook wouldn’t take it upon himself to do the right thing. It had to take big corporations boycotting Facebook to make him stop spreading hate

Hopefully so many other companies join too.

Why are you not talking about the president doing nothing for 4 months after knowing that Russia paid the Taliban to kill our soldiers Why after knowing that information, he pushed for Russia/Putin to be G8? Why are you NOT talking about this massive story?

Freedom of Speech. Take that away and Freedom will fall

Just like MySpace, Facebook will be nothing more than a distant memory within the next two years. The real problem is the radical leftists using fear to push companies into submission. At the end of the day, we’re all Americans. Once that fact is realized, we’ll all be happy.

Facebook is liberal. Way to punish them for not being woke enough. 😂😂. Left is turning on their own

Facebook has a HUGE market... it's the loss of the boycott crew on this one.

Branding always evolves Trump's corporates shall compensate They want to automate response to hate speech and end up “pubishing” users for using bad words out of context. They have so much to learn. Not with my help though, until they share personal data profits with users, I not using the network.
