TikTok has said it will quit the Hong Kong market after China imposed a new security law on the city.
The short-form video app was launched by China-based ByteDance for users outside mainland China as part of a strategy to grow its global audience.TikTok, now run by former Walt Disney executive Kevin Mayer, has said in the past that the app's user data is not stored in China.

I used to be a huge HK supporter for months. But when we had NRC crisis in India, none of them or any international community came to front or even raised a tiniest bit of support. So...yeah fuhk them, they are on their own. And they are screwed, CCP is doubling down on them.
