Suprised BLM never burnt them to the ground. CTV is a garbage news station, who represent garbage people. Defund this loser news station. And break up Canada, the east only cares about itself.

Why all so negative. This is a Canadian retailer. Not many left.

That's ok

Overpriced ugly clothes to begin with 😬

No more cat water!?!?

Bye bye trashy clothes

Who knew it was still in business?

Drat, where's my tiny violin?

If they weren't over priced crap to begin with I might care more

Le Crapeau is still around?

Is this tweet from the 90's?

Meh. 🤷‍♂️

Well if their clothes were not crap, that would be a good start.

Justina Trudeau will step in to save them because they are a “French” company...

50 percent of all retail will be gone by January in Canada Home owners will foot the bill for lost retail and commercial city incomes. Hold on to your hats folks, not only are your RRSP's and investments/Pensions going to be gone but your tax bill is about to skyrocket.

Good!!!! This place and its awful unrealistic sizing.

Where is your report on this?

Every time a business closes due to covid-19, Jeff Bezos responds....

They better not go out of business, cus half my skirts are from there

Ask the rich conservatives why don’t they buy your goods and prefer American stores!

Oh no, I have loved this store for years and many of their clothes are made in Canada.

Didn’t they just get a contract to supply 500K hospital disposible gowns?

I didn’t think they were still in business....

89.99 for a sweater...I'll pass. Rw&co is next with their 130 dollar pants

Not when your up against Wish and all these other clothing sales online through Facebook individual distributors making a killing

Takes advantage of capitalism to exploit cheap labour and sell trash; is mad when the invisible hand b*tchslaps them into bankruptcy. SorryNotSorry

Le Chateau is the Radio Shack of clothing stores - held on longer than even Le Chateau could believe. I can just picture their annual Board of Directors meetings for the last 20 years - “Holy sh*t, well, here we are yet again!”

Won’t be missed

dinosaurs like le chateau gotta realize it's time to go.

Weren't they making hospital gowns a week ago?

Don’t even know how it lasted that long. Over priced garbage. Even when they had their outlet they were selling dresses from over 10 years ago for ridiculous prices.

Nooooo! I love that store!!!

Le Chiteau

Overpriced

Where in the heck will people buy shiny polyester if it goes under?

probably the worst quality clothes I have seen, along with Forever 21. bye bye

Well if it wasn’t so expensive maybe you guys could of stayed in business for a long time.

It's fast fashion and a god damn scourge. See you bye

They are still around? WOW

Overpriced for nothing. Dresses over $100? Give me a break!!!

Who even shops here.....cya bye. Waste of space

They so bloody expensive for no reason

I thought they were already closing

I'm shocked the store of over-priced medium-to-low-quality dresses has run its course! Maybe when schools come back and people need a cheap semi-formal number

Waaa waa waa! There. I played a sad trumpet for them. Can we grt back to the regularly scheduled propaganda now so we can keep roasting you!?

The horror. Where will we get our sweatshop made euro fashions of the early 2000s? Dig deep people this bailout needs to happen

I’m actually shocked that this company is still around..

This is sad ! Where will I get their beautiful jackets.
