With the electronic components industry changing dramatically, Jinzhenyuan saw an opportunity to strengthen its market position by extending its downstream industrial supply chain to improve competitiveness. The goal, in short, was to move upstream and capture more business at the high end of the mobile phone supply chain.Up until 2017, Jinzhenyuan’s involvement in upstream manufacturing centered on producing a relatively basic built-in cellphone part for the iPhone.
