I urge my fellow collegiate leaders to shed outdated beliefs and practices steeped in educational elitism. It is well past time to jettison antiquated ideas of how we deliver higher education. Leaders must be open to seeing their world through a new lens for a new era. That starts with realizing that affordable, accessible education in both on-ground and online platforms is the only way forward. A broader and more objective analysis of universities wouldn't hurt either.
