Trump calls for boycott of Goodyear, accuses company of banning his campaign hats

FILE PHOTO: U.S. President Donald Trump delivers remarks at Basler Flight Service in Oshkosh, WisconsinWASHINGTON - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for a boycott of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co following a local news report in Kansas that the company has deemed political attire including that of the Trump campaign unacceptable for the workplace.

Shares in Goodyear, the largest tire company in North America, fell 4% following Trump's Twitter post. The White House declined to comment on whether Trump, who is seeking re-election on Nov. 3, was calling for Americans to stop buying new vehicles with Goodyear tires. The WIBW report cited a photograph that it said was of a slide from a Goodyear employee from a presentation listing acceptable and unacceptable workplace attire.

Keep politics out of the job. Trump is ridiculous. TrumpIsTheWORSTPresidentEVER

Trump is so damn stupid he can’t even understand that they ban all logos in the work place - but to seek a boycott that is abuse of power by him

Trump you need to get the hell off the cross. So we can build a better foundation without you

I don't normally buy Goodyear tires, but I will now.

A President should be for country and people but time and time again he has shown he's in it for himself.

Cry baby 😭 haha

The EarlofPetty

I hate to tell him that most major corporations have the same policy.

baa baa Trump Sheep

TANTRUM-P....number 1874

SATAN angry...none want to make ' sign of the beast ' Red caps

Hahahaha

That was not accusation, it the fact. They banned them

What a fucking baby!!

They banned anything political in the workplace not just his hats!

trump has lost his mind.

Uh, the tires on his limousine are made by Goodyear...stanGoodyear

Hasn't Goodyear got the freedom to choose between the two candidates?

Good job Goodyear!!!

They are doing it so the rest of their year can be good!! See what i did there!!

Ah yes, let's boycott an American company during a pandemic and people losing their jobs left and right. Idiots.

Fool, VoteEarlyRemoveTrump

Get your story right!! Boycott Goodyear because they are banning pro police stuff.

It's a sensible move on Goodyear's part. I wouldn't trust a MAGA-capped moron with my tires. It doesn't inspire confidence in their ability to think critically or perform their jobs when they're advertising their lack of judgment so clearly.

WE BOYCOTT BECAUSE GOODYEAR PROMOTES RAPE BY DEFUNDING POLICE, police are a rape victim's only line of defense! For us it is not about the hate but STOPPING RAPE.

They’re really trying to ban the unlawful protests that Trump keeps blaming on antifa! Many peaceful protests have elevated into trouble because of instigator groups appearing with MAGA hats!💁‍♂️😷

Wow. This clown really needs to get his priorities in order. Fighting over his dumb af MAGA hats? Like that's really an issue that requires addressing. Smfh

Not just hats

I thought he hated “cancel culture”.

Thank you President Trump. We agree. Bye bye Goodyear.

Stan Goodyear

WE DO NOT SUPPORT ANY COMPANY THAT PROMOTES RAPE, RAPE VICTIMS ONLY RECOURSE IS THE POLICE. GOODYEAR wants to defund? i comunisti disgustosi Non comprerò comunista!

I thought they were all about America first? Now he’s telling people to buy French and Japanese products over American ones Cool

Madness.

GREAT! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

STAN GOODYEAR

Good

Yet conservatives hate cancel culture
