Ok. Lets just coddle black folks now. Why arent african americans getting upset when we announce this stuff? This in a way is just another form on racism. We are placing them on a pedestal and holding their hand. Who wants to achieve their goals that way?

That’s just an invitation 2 more Fraud & Crime.

Donald When are you going tell your supporters, that they need to wear a mask when they are within 6 feet of someone else?

Mandating hiring of executives based solely on skin color sounds racist. Are you kidding ? When are you going to start reporting on the double standard racism in America?

What are there fewer of in the US: Blacks or Jews?

The world is a better place now 😕

We used to have resumes without photos because it was considered discriminatory, now we have LinkedIn among other social media networks. No one is complaining about that.

Pledge? Whatever, let me guess; Director of Urban Development? How Blackish of You!

Isn't this the plot of Trading Places?

Why not rather commit to have a 50% cultural diverse board in stead of only 1 person... but its a start progress Inclusive Cultural diversity will ensure ultimate sustainability.

This is the dumbest thing yet...

That’s racism.

It shouldnt work this way. Hire them because they are qualified... Don't refuse to hire them because they are black.

Or they could add the best qualified candidate

i wonder how they'll feel being tokens. EnemyOfThePeople

talk about fighting unseen forces, evil wickedness in high places...

Good for those 5 people I guess. Black capitalism will not save the rest of us though.

Really? A pledge to add “A” Black director? What, just ONE? This is a “CHALLENGE”? WTF? Here’s a CHALLENGE: STOP DISCRIMINATING w/your hiring practices & start hiring more QUALIFIED candidates regardless of their race, gender, or disability! How about THAT CHALLENGE, assholes!

South Africa style racism.

What about women, Hispanics or Native Americans

Lol “a” and 🙄 to these comments that claim this is racist ..sigh y’all just don’t get it

Does this include all races, or just one in particular? What process is going to be used to determine if someone is 'black enough' to qualify for the job? So weird how we are now determining qualifications based on ones race, religion and sex to solve the issue of inequality.

Insane..... Don’t pick people based on their skin colour... you will loose your business and credibility.... check if the candidate is the right one and have the capability to take business to the next level...

somebody hired kaan & associates. see how implementation of the rooney rule is going.

Not racist at all. ‘Board Challenge’? What are we? 12 year old girls on Facebook or business leaders. 2020 is a real trip

Actually if you refer to the Racism Act of 1975, it is illegal to give anyone any type of preference because of their race - so effectively this is an illegal racist ‘challenge’ and the instigators must be arrested 😡

Tokenism. Sad.

Thats LITERALLY the definition of racism🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️...

Oh gee, more ruling class tokenism that will do absolutely nothing to improve real people's lives.

Affirmative action? Here comes the Kkkaren parade...

I'm here for the triggered comments

Boycott all these racist companies

So...racism.

That is picking people based on skin color
