Morrison has also received a hiding from commentators such as News Corp's Terry McCrann who labelled him an "outrageous misogynist".

Regardless of the inquiry's findings, Holgate's position is near impossible. In QT this week, labour repeatedly blamed the Govt for the 'Cartier Watches' scandal. PM's high pitch was unwarranted. Blaming him while entirely ignoring the vilification of AusPost by labour, once again points to the naked bias of the insufferable ABC and Michelle Grattan.

Just showing he can kick ass but won't remove or even shuffle his poorly performing ministers. It is but the first show of power in a chain of actions designed to deliver the message that Scumo has balls.

I do think the attack on Holgate was disgraceful. Time scottyfromarketing concentrated on putting his own house in order & begin to put an end to the rorting we have witnessed in the last few years!

I don't agree the PM trashed Ms Holgate. These incentives are not acceptable for a service that is getting worse. It is now takes over 10 days to deliver letters compared to 3 to 5 days. The PM is questioning these gifts as are most Australians. 👍
