Leading companies like Pfizer and Goldman Sachs have written to Congress urging for the country to “move forward.”

Monday, marking the business community’s most forceful interjection in President Trump’s post-election battle to date.zz/KGC-03/STAR MAX/IPx, the business leaders encourage Congress to “move forward,” insisting that “the presidential election has been decided.”

“Congress should certify the electoral vote,” reads the letter, adding: “Attempts to thwart or delay this process run counter to the essential tenets of our democracy.” Among the signees are an array of executives from Fortune 500 companies, as well as leaders of banks, airlines, investment firms, pharmaceutical companies and more.
