PETALING JAYA: The government has further streamlined its list of essential services allowed during the movement control order to include the digital creative content industry.

The new list includes a total of 52 items and specifies work in the sector as content development in studio which includes film editing as an essential service.

It also further specifies areas under e-commerce, communications and information technology services. Meanwhile, the list also specifies communication services to include telecommunications and Internet, postal and courier and broadcasting while information technology services include global business services and call centres.
