Melbourne’s Lord Mayor says the five-day snap lockdown that came into effect in Victoria on Saturday has been “disastrous” for businesses.

Cr Capp says the five-day snap lockdown that came into effect in Victoria on Saturday has been “disastrous” for businesses.

“It is dire … for so many businesses. They are making decisions every day about whether they are going to be able to open their doors and keep people in employment,” Cr Capp told Nine’s Today program on Monday.“We did feel like we were moving into revival and we are very much back into asking for a survival package to make sure that Melbourne can be open for business.”

“Our small business community, particularly, needs certainty and they need support, and that includes a comprehensive package with all levels of government … to create that economic stimulus to keep our city moving forward.”

The Chinese will buy the businesses on the cheap ..

Sally Capp. You mean the piece of 💩who supports Invasion Day protests but called for the Moomba bird man rally to be cancelled and the Anzac Day march to be cancelled. She needs to stand in front of a fast approaching tram on Collins St and stay there

The alternative would be more severe .... shortmemory

How were we getting more cases per day last year when we were fully locked down, than we are now with the so called super spreader strain that has come into contact with hundreds of people? Keep believing in their lies idiots

A comprehensive package to cover three business days? Is she going to ask Scotty to extend JK at the full rate because if wasn't ending it, businesses wouldn't be in the shit with being shut for for a few days. (And yes, I know there is chance it will be extended.)

Go away a protest against Australia Day

But a 8 week full lockdown due to this strain getting out of control wouldn't be worse ? Got it .

She sallycapp needs to pick a side, LiberalAus or her constituents? She can't sit on the fence.

Bit like herself....

No shit Sherlock

Then stop supporting dan pull ur support
