The distressed traders were said to have called the attention of the Oyo State Fire Service to the scene of the incident as the people made frantic efforts to put out the fire. The traders and sympathisers soon became helpless due to water shortage. Efforts to salvage the goods and wares in the shops were futile as the fire continued with intensity.

On their arrival at the Agodi Gate Area of the market, the firemen had difficulty in getting close to the point of the fire as fire trucks could not access the spot. A market goes up in flames every other two weeks or so. Is it that there are no lessons learnt from previous infernos? Can nothing be done or do we just throw up our hands each time and resort to fate.

punch, you never fail to disappoint me. it is 'car ream' not 'car realm'. that's by the way. A real tragedy has befallen the people, putting in mind that the country's economy does not smile to start ups

Is this a plotted impoverishment of people. Fire everywhere. What is going on?

Igbo people won't you go home or will you still rebuild and resettle ? How long will it take you to realize that you are always the target ?
