Most of the world’s developing countries have backed a demand for wealthy nations to channel at least $1.3 trillion in climate finance to them annually starting in 2030

Who is going monitor how this money is used Always seems to disappear....

Before demanding anything, they must get their act together. Also, corruption is an issue and there's no guarantee that the said resources will be properly applied.

Annually? And have they also backed a plan on how they’ll pay interest on that financing (and, gulp, repay the principal)?

Wow, poor countries support receiving free money? This is almost as surprising as Congress voting to give themselves a raise 🤔
