Annuar calls for boost to creative industry

Communications and Multimedia Minister Annuar Musa says ‘Mak Yong’, which was originally a method of treatment used in villages, can be turned into a professional industry that will generate income as well as create job opportunities. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 13, 2021.

GOVERNMENT and private agencies must play a role in boosting the creative industry to increase its contribution to national gross domestic product , according to Communications and Multimedia Minister Annuar Musa. He said it was important because currently the contribution is low, even though Malaysia is rich in creativity.
