Both television spot advertising and sponsorship revenues grew in 2021, with finance, consumer goods, television and broadband, retail and government among the key categories on the rise. Out-of-home advertising is forecast to increase almost 19 per cent to €67.5 million this year after growth of more than 17 per cent in 2021, but the market will remain short of the €90.7 million investment recorded in 2019, Core said.
