At least 24 shops were burnt down in Bauchi fire incident at Muda Lawal Market, Bauchi metropolis.

The Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Muhammad T Bature confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Saturday.He added that Fire Service personnel mobilized to the scene with five fire fighting trucks.Meanwhile, traders alleged that black marketers operating at Muda Lawal Market, Bauchi, caused the inferno which razed down shops and part of Jummaat Mosque.
