Initially, Victoria was torn between choosing Nursing or Business to study in ITE.

This article was contributed by the Institute of Technical Education .Recipient of Lee Kuan Yew Model Student Award 2022 Based on her gut feel, she chose Business Services. Her choice paid off handsomely as she aced her course. As an active member of Student Council, she participated in the Asia Virtual Exposure Series Vietnam 2020 programme run by the National Youth Council.

With excellent Nitec results, Victoria articulated into the second year of a related Higher Nitec course. As she deepens her skills in ITE, her foundational knowledge in business will put her in good stead to specialise in accounting. In her free time, Victoria even reads up on accounting. She admits finding joy in inputting formulas in spreadsheets!“The pace is faster in Higher Nitec and I’m enjoying it. There are new friends and it’s a new learning environment.
