Idiotic as electricity prices go through the roof but then again the ABC overpaid clowns never stop to think the average citizen can’t afford a electric car

Oh get stuffed, Elon. An electric traffic jam is still a traffic jam.

Good news for child slaves mining cobalt and other metals used in batteries. There's plenty of work for them.

Hm! I can imagine what will happen when we become more dependent on electricity. Prices will sky rocket to the point that travel costs will be about the same as per litre of fuel. I can't imagine the cost of installing a charging system for the home.

FACT CHECK: False. there is no EV boom in Tassy. Hundreds of people are NOT buying EV's. Tassy has less than 20 EV's on the road. If you ordered your EV SIX MONTHS ago, you have to wait another YEAR for delivery. The ABC is flagrantly dishonest!!!

Rich people saving $$$ to become richer.

Now we know where all the wealthy people live.

Is anyone motivated by doing the right thing these days just 'because'. Or does everything have to come down to money?

Ummm we’re been ask to not use electricity and the ABC are promoting electricity guzzling EVs? Where is the electricity coming from ABC? Did you consult AEMO?

Just don’t mention how most of the minerals that electric cars need are produced.

Nice if you could afford to buy one

Chair of the TAS EVA. Of course it going to be positive. Still not enough charging points across the state to encourage tourists down this route 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for your contribution Karen

Rubish

Just as well they have all those hydro dams the greenies try to stop.

Wealthy retirees moving to Tasmania from other States fuel EV market boom.

Fossil fuels greed will bite them in the ass. Just about everyone I know is talking about getting an EV now.

Bollocks.

Handy if you own a coupla houses and get franking credits .

But how is Tasmania produce its electricity? Is it coming from renewable forms or is it coming from fossil fuels?

Who would have thought? People moving away from expensive fossil fuels 🤔
