Ministry holds talks with industry players on new chicken price cap | The Malaysian Insight

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry holds an engagement session with stakeholders of the country’s chicken supply chain to determine its new ceiling price. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 25, 2022.

Its minister Alexander Nanta Linggi said the session was held following Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s announcement on the government’s decision to not float the price of chicken. According to Nanta, the meeting that began this morning would take into consideration all views in determining the maximum price of chicken in the market

Yesterday, the prime minister announced the government’s decision to not float the price of chicken, in ensuring the people are not burdened.
