The U.S. government held its first onshore oil and gas sales from public lands since President Biden took office, bringing in $22 million on the rights for 110 square miles.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., on energy policies amid high gas prices, the current state of the country's economy and chip production.

The sale secured the rights on about 110 square miles of public lands in the western U.S. on Thursday.
