The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines , operator of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market , will be enforcing enhancements in its registration system to open power retail aggregation to a broader end-user coverage.

This followed after the Energy Regulatory Commission recently declared that aggregation in the Retail Competition and Open Access policy of the power industry will formally kick off by December 26 this year.
