Bursaries South Africa provides 10 scholarships available to students in South Africa for August and September.

South African companies and associations alike have opened bursaries and scholarships to fund tertiary studies for the 2023 academic year.an online platform that provides students with updated information on bursaries and other funding opportunities in the country, said that August and September is the perfect times to apply for bursaries because students can use their mid-year results to secure funding for the upcoming year.

It is often the case, however, that a bursary or scholarship is limited to certain years of study or degrees. For example, the Thuthuka bursary offered by the South African Insititute of Chartered Accountants is only an option for students working towards that career. The government is also encouraging skilled South Africans to work for state institutions; however, these can be geographically specific such as the Masakh’iSizwe Bursary offered by the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works available to students from universities in the province.Note: The below bursaries are closing for August and September 2022.Available for various fields of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications within the Transport sector and related fields.

To qualify, candidates must have a total household income of not more than R350,000 per annum and must not be older than 35 years.Offered by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants , for students who are studying towards a career in Chartered Accountancy.A bursary opportunity brought by the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works.

Available for studies at the University of Cape Town, the University of Stellenbosch and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, in fields within the Transport, Engineering and Built Environment sectors.An opportunity for undergraduate studies within STEM fields .Applications must be submitted by no later than 31 August.
