The Deputy Health Minister Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo says Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba’s statement is not necessarily wrong but the environment in which she made it may have been inappropriate. mnangagwa

Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Thembi Siweya , MEC of Health, Dr Phophi Ramathuba and Executive Mayor Cllr Stanley Ramaila arrive at the St Rita Hospital in Sekhukhune District Municipality.Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Thembi Siweya , MEC of Health, Dr Phophi Ramathuba and Executive Mayor Cllr Stanley Ramaila arrive at the St Rita Hospital in Sekhukhune District Municipality.

Ramathuba has defended the statement she made in a recent video that Zimbabweans are placing a strain on the province’s healthcare system. She is heard telling the patient that her country must take responsibility for her health issues, adding that Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa did not contribute to Limpopo’s health budget.

“We will be discussing with her and get a report which we will forward to the Minister who will come back to the country in two weeks’ time and then we can take it from there. Probably it was an inappropriate space with a patient. However, all what we are saying, for now, was the inappropriateness of the space in which it was made,” says the Deputy Health Minister.

Wrong, it was a right platform.

She just wants to be politically correct. Sugar coat the statement. She’s being careful

Even if it was said in a funeral, it still is a fact that the dr dlomo himself turned a blind eye long ago, he's worried about the environment and not the budget that is exhausted by these people, because his benefits as and his salary is not anywhere affected...

She is trying to shine too?

Do we have a deputy minister of health...didn't know her until today...so leave our MEC Dr Phophi alone please

At last someone got brains.

She is encouraging health workers to be nasty towards patients it might nice now because she is nasty towards zimbos

We don't need a minister like her.. She folds easily.. She don't have balls to stand for the truth... Instead of firing Dr Phophi fire this so called Dr dhlomo

there you have it she is a politician for crying out loud she did wat any politician would do if conered even mugabe did it by chasing nd killing white famers wen he felt his power was slipping

It's the truth oksalayo

That I can agree she wasn't wrong only the manner she handled the situation she should have at least took her to a private room and explain to her but she's not wrong Period HandsOffDrPhophi

bekumele uyithethe phi ke🤔🤔?

Ahe has been quiet, she must continue being quiet 🤫

Facts have no environment or profession. Whether you're at a Hospital, Parliament or Asylum.. Facts are facts!

This is very true it's a pity that it's viewed in a negative side. Go to maternity sections and count locals in the queue, foreigners are dominating. Who is paying for these services? I support the MEC the platform is spot on maybe the government will take action.

Truth has never prejudiced and has no environment

Inappropriate how🤷‍♀️?
