To attract more commercial activities and improve on revenue generation, Eti-Osa East Local Council, has relocated traders to the new market in Addo community at Soled Omole street Addo, Ajah, Lagos.

The traders said they relocated following orders from the council six months ago. Before the relocation, the old market, situated in ldi-lroko street, opposite Jacob Plaza road, near Addo roundabout was usually overcrowded.

She stressed that they didn’t believe that the old market would be demolished, until it was done three months ago, which forced them to relocate to the new market and today, they are enjoying the new market. Commending the layout of the market, a trader, Aina Emmanuel, advised residents to patronise people in the new Addo market because of its good organisation.

Also, available are tricycles, which take customers and traders from the old market site to the new site for as low as N50.
