South African male runner, Tete Dijana, has won the 2022 Comrades Marathon. The security guard from the North West reached Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban in an incredible time of 5 hours 30 minutes and 35 seconds.

Runners did their last-minute marathon shopping and scheduled physiotherapy sessions at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre where the expo was held on Saturday. One of the exhibits at the expo was a coffee table book entitled “In Your Stride: 100 Years of the Comrades Marathon” co-written by Brad Morgan and Steve Camp.Morgan says the book outlines how far the Marathon has come since it started.

“…So I think we’ve really got it right with that and certainly the feedback that we’ve got from the runners has been fantastic. We’re really proud that we’re able to put the book together and also very honoured that Comrades entrusted Steve and I do this book,” explains Morgan.

SthembisoMedia We are all on Twitter SABC🤣😂🤣😂

No shame, a national broadcaster who could not televise to million of South Africans.

Have some shame. You couldn't even pay up to televise this iconic event yet you tweeting about. Poor masses who can't afford DSTV couldn't even watch it. You are a joke of broadcaster. You would rather buy rights to show netball and basketball, that no one watches. Comrades2022
