Supersport United coach Gavin Hunt has noted with concern his side’s ability to play consistently and. He was speaking ahead of their DStv Premiership match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.
They have another tough assignment against a Sundowns team that has a much better win ratio. The two sides played in a cup fixture on Sunday and the rivalry will be renewed again on Friday. They have fresh memories of that match and have noted their shortcomings from that encounter. Although the lack of goals has been a concern for Gavin Hunt, he doesn’t fault the performance and attitude from the players.
Hunt, who is also in a rebuilding phase, introduced three young players for their PSL debut against Sundowns in their previous meeting. And while he is willing to give the young players an opportunity, which could compromise results, he is confident the risks will yield results in the near future.
