Snapchat will cut its web3 team as part of its restructuring plan, according to an employee tweet.

Snapchat parent Snap Inc. apparently is nixing its web3 team as a company-wide restructuring plan calls for reducing staff by 20%. Jake Sheinman, one of the founders of Snap’s web3 team, tweeted on Aug.
