Ruby Watson, a 20-year-old student from Newcastle, can get fixated on numbers and finds it discouraging walking into a high street store and not fitting her usual size. “I’ve found recently that I havemuch more than when I was younger,” she says. “Clothing brands have always had inconsistent sizing in comparison to one another but recently I have found that brands are not even consistent across their different items.
