The Acting Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Mrs Christy Ifeyinwa Uba has expressed willingness to the Scheme to collaborate with the Anambra State Government to establish Skill Acquisition Centre in the State.

Uba disclosed this when she paid a courtesy visit to the wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo at the Government House, Amawbia, Awka.

Mrs Uba, who is a native of Anambra State expressed joy to be back home while she urged other State Governments to emulate Governor Charles Soludo in the provision of critical Camp facilities and other support for the Scheme in the State. The Anambra State First Lady said plans are underway to build Mega Skill Acquisition Centres in the State and collaboration with NYSC would facilitate the eventual take-off and development of the Centres.
