Sadiya Farouq, minister of humanitarian affairs, says victims of terrorism will be included in all the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) to enable them to recover properly.

Farouq, represented by Funke Olatunji, CEO, special duties, said this on Thursday at a sensitisation programme held in Katsina state. “It is a fact that security in Nigeria has continued to restrict access to basic services and both affected people and host communities require emergency support and other necessary human assistance,” the statement reads.“To this end, the ministry whose mandate is to provide assistance for the vulnerable groups in Nigeria had realized the enormous challenges faced by the victims of terrorism across Nigeria and has commenced a pilot phase of sensitization and survey of victims of terrorism.
