Less than six months after opening its doors, supply chain company FlexCold is expanding its Jacksonville facility.
Work on the expansion will begin in the first quarter of this year, with the project completed by summer 2024. The expanded project will increase the number of people employed at the facility from 20 to 40, grow the company's capital investment to $115 million from $47 million and add 196,000 square feet of space to the facility, which will double the number of pallet positions.
FlexCold is a project by Charleston, South Carolina-based Flexspace, a company that designs and builds warehouses with a focus on efficiency and density.
